MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414097909 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Dec. 11, 2024, for 'motor unit.'
Inventor(s) include Yoshihiro Takahara; Takashi Imakawa; Takanori Asai; Hideya Awata; Daichi Oura; Hiroyasu Harada; and Yasuhiro Makido.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A motor unit (10) includes a channel. The channel includes: a supply channel (30) through which a cooling medium is supplied; a discharge channel (32) through which the cooling medium is discharged; a first cooling medium system (80) provided in a first range from the supply channel (30) toward one side in a circumferential direction to the discharge channel (32); and a second cooling medium system (82) provided in a second range from the supply channel (30) toward the other side in the circumferential direction to the discharge channel (32). The first cooling medium system (80) includes a first cooling medium channel (90) that connects the supply channel (30) and the discharge channel (32), and a second cooling medium channel (92) that is independent of the first cooling medium channel (90) and that connects the supply channel (30) and the discharge channel (32)."
