MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414102890 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Dec. 24, 2024, for 'motor.'

Inventor(s) include Makoto Yoshikawa; Hiroaki Urano; Tetsuhiro Takenaka; Yuichiro Kanada; Shinji Oita; Shingo Nagai; Shota Fukunaga; and Michitaka Tsuchida.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A motor (10; 100; 200; 300; 400) includes a cylindrical stator core (18), a coil (20), a busbar (22), at least one busbar holder (24, 26), and a housing (28). The busbar (22) is configured to be connected to one end of the coil (20) that protrudes beyond an end face of the stator core (18). The busbar (22) includes a connecting portion (22c) connected to the one end of the coil (20) from outside in a radial direction. The at least one busbar holder (24, 26) is located radially outward of the one end of the coil (20). The housing (28) is configured to hold the stator core (18) and the at least one busbar holder (24, 26) from outside in the radial direction. The connecting portion (22c) extends from the busbar holder (24, 26)."
