MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104169 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'motion-controlled robotic vehicle system.'

Inventor(s) include Gazal Sharma; Dr. Nitin Bhardwaj; Dr. Sawinder Kaur Vermani; and Soosan Chhabra.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A motion-controlled robotic vehicle system, comprising a transmitter unit 101, an accelerometer sensor, a first microcontroller 102, a radio frequency (RF) communication link, a receiver unit 103, a second microcontroller 104, a robotic vehicle drive system, and a pick-and-place arm, the accelerometer sensor detects hand tilting motions and generates motion signals, the first microcontroller 102 processes these signals and transmits motion command data through the RF communication link 105, the receiver unit 103 receives the transmitted data, the second microcontroller 104 interprets the received data and produces control signals, the robotic vehicle drive system moves in response to the interpreted signals, the pick-and-place arm performs gripping, lifting, and placing actions based on tilting gestures, the system eliminates the need for mechanical buttons or joysticks, enabling gesture-based, efficient, and fatigue-free control for both vehicle and arm operations simultaneously."
