MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105649 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'mortar constituents mixing device.'
Inventor(s) include Krishna Nandan.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mortar constituents mixing device comprising a platform 101 with a hemi-spherical shaped body 102 via a pair of supporting bars 103, plurality of castor wheels 104 to allow to traverse the platform 101 over ground surface, a plurality of hoppers 105 to accommodate mortar constituents, an iris lid 108 to dispense mortar constituents within the conduits 107, a motorized auger screw 109 for mixing of mortar constituents, a scotch yoke assembly 110 for vertical mixing of the mortar constituents by lifting, folding, and spreading the mixture, a speaker 111 to notify the user regarding preparation of mortar constituents, an emergency stop and safety cut-off knob 113 for manual shutdown during undesired conditions, a motorized pivot joint 112 to tilt the hemi-spherical shaped body 102 post mixing the mortar constituents and a microphone provides voice commands for transferring mixed mortar constituents."
