MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527076374 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 11, for 'monitoring or transmitting method and device, apparatus, and readable storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a monitoring or transmitting method, a device, an apparatus, and a readable storage medium, which are applied in the technical field of wireless communication. A monitoring method, executed by user equipment, comprises: in a first overlapping duration, not monitoring set downlink information on a carrier used during an off duration of a discontinuous transmission (DTX) mechanism of a network device, the first overlapping duration being an overlapping region of a first duration and a second duration, the first duration being an off duration of discontinuous transmission (DTX) of the network device, and the second duration being an on duration of connected mode discontinuous reception (C-DRX) of the user equipment."
