The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention presents an AI-enabled smart monitoring and management system designed to improve the efficiency and transparency of government hospitals. The system integrates intelligent appointment scheduling, geofencing-based staff attendance tracking, patient feedback analysis, and centralized administrative monitoring within a secure cloud platform. Patients can search for doctors and book appointments in real time, helping to reduce overcrowding and waiting time. Staff attendance is automatically recorded using geofencing technology to ensure accurate tracking and accountability. The system collects patient feedback in both text and voice formats, converts voice input into text, and analyzes it using natural language processing techniques to evaluate service quality. An anomaly detection mechanism identifies urgent complaints or irregular patterns for timely administrative action. A centralized dashboard provides real-time performance metrics and reports to authorized authorities, while secure data transmission and role-based access control ensure privacy and data protection across the platform."
