MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511124851 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'modular water bottle for personalized hydration management.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular water bottle for personalized hydration management, comprising a hollow body 101 having an upper section 102 as a primary water reservoir and a lower section 103 as a detachable tumbler for drinking, a filter unit 105 for continuous real-time water purification, a sensor suite 106 for monitoring water quality and consumption parameters, a thermoelectric cooler unit (TEC) 107 to facilitate controlled heating and cooling of stored water, a set of level sensors 108 to measure changes in water volume, an AI-powered camera 109 to identify user and detect water consumption events, a LED indicator 110 for displaying hydration status through color codes for conveying different user hydration conditions, a motorized mixing unit 114 for automated blending of supplements inside lower section 103, and a sipper unit 115 connected through internal conduits 116 to allow selective dispensing of fluids while preventing cross-contamination."
