MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006608 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'modular storage device for electronic gadgets.'
Inventor(s) include Gurmeet Kaur; Ripple; Namrata Chopra; Klsh; Nitin Raj; Diksha Verma; Siya; and Divyanshu Chauhan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular storage device for electronic gadgets, comprising a wearable body 1 secured by a user over a torso region by means of two straps 4, a microphone 13 accessed by user to input voice commands for opening of body 1, a robotic gripper 5 assembled on body 1 for gripping a zipper 6 assembled between a first and a second portion 3, a motorized slider for providing movement to gripper 5 for opening first portion 2, a motorized hinge joint 7 orients second portion 3 to expose a plate 8 assembled on second portion 3 over which user places an electronic gadget, multiple inverted L-shaped telescopic links 9 retract to secure gadget on plate 8, an ultrasonic sensor installed on body 1 for detecting height of user, and a hydraulic bar 11 arranged underneath plate 8 for extending to positioning gadget at an optimum height."
