MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511115086 A) filed by Asif Akbar; Mudasir Nazeer; Showkat Ahmad Kumar; Aamer Majid Bhat; Tabasum Ali; and Jawaaz Ahmad, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, on Nov. 21, 2025, for 'modular shuttering assembly with variable length adjustment for undulated terrain.'

Inventor(s) include Asif Akbar; Mudasir Nazeer; Showkat Ahmad Kumar; Aamer Majid Bhat; and Tabasum Ali.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a modular shuttering assembly designed to facilitate formwork installation on undulated or uneven terrain without requiring ground leveling. The system comprises an adjustable plate (100) connected through a hinge connection (101) to at least two adjustable members (104, 106) having a series of holes for insertion of locking pins (107) to achieve incremental height adjustment. The lower ends of the members are mounted on ball-and-socket joints (108) allowing multi-directional articulation and stable ground contact. Multiple assemblies can be interconnected through interlock brackets (110) and tie rods (112) to form a continuous, self-supporting framework. The combination of hinge and ball-joint mechanisms provides angular and positional adaptability, ensuring level and stable formwork under variable terrain conditions. The system is modular, reconfigurable, and reusable, making it suitable for rapid, cost-effective construction applications."
