MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012431 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'modular pet training device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular pet training device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 accessed by a user for providing input details, plurality of rotatable discs 3 integrated with plurality of plates 4 for creating a tricky pathway, plurality of chambers 5 configured with a motorized iris lids 6 for spreading aroma in order to attract the animal, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images of the discs 3, plurality of flaps 8 integrated with multiple motorized hinges 9 for diverting the pathway, and plurality of extendable L-shaped covering units for extending in a manner to reduce the light intensity by covering the platform 1."
