MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010721 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'modular parking assistive system.'

Inventor(s) include Manish Joshi; and Kul Bhushan Anand.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular parking assistive system comprising a platform 1 arranged with hydraulically operated rods 2 to maintain alignment of platform 1 with ground surface, an imaging unit 3 for capturing surrounding images to monitor positioning of parked vehicle, multiple telescopically operated clamping units 4 to extend/retract for acquiring a grip over tires of vehicle to secure vehicle, a communication module for establishing a wireless connection between microcontroller and a user's computing unit, an extendable plank 5 to get extended towards surface for enabling user to drive vehicle on platform 1 through plank 5, a speaker 6 to notify regarding positioning of vehicle on platform 1, multiple bearing 7 arranged in between rods 2 and platform 1 to rotate platform 1 in a user-specified direction to remove user's vehicle from platform 1."
