MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017938 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'modular light illumination device.'
Inventor(s) include Arun Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular light illumination device, comprises of a cylindrical frame 1 developed to be hand-held by a user, a button 2 for actuating/de-actuating the device, a circular unit 3 integrated with plurality of LEDs (light emitting diodes) 4 to get illuminated for providing a hand-held light source to the user, a telescopically operated bar 5 for positioning the LEDs 4 at a desired height, plurality of curved plates 6 configured by means of a motorized hinge joint to establish a tripod like structure for allowing the frame 1 to stand on a fixed surface, a hook 7 integrated with a motorized clamping unit 8 for suspending the frame 1 from a fixed surface, and plurality of suction cups 9 for providing stability to the frame 1 on the ground surface."
