MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025563 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'modular light decoration assistive device for outdoors.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular light decoration assistive device for outdoors comprises of, a rectangular body 1 developed to be arranged on parapet/roof-top of a building, multiple extendable C-shaped members 2 for securing the body 1 with railing of the parapet/ roof-top, an ultrasonic sensor to detect thickness of railing of the parapet/ roof-top, a drawer arrangement to extend/ retract for increasing/ decreasing dimensions of the member 2, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 7 mounted on the body 1 to evaluate a 3D (three-dimensional) mapping of the surrounding, a touch interactive display panel to select a portion of the surrounding where the user desires to perform light decoration, and multiple motorized roller 4 wrapped with LED (Light Emitting Diode) light strips 5 to rotate for unwrapping an optimum length of the light strip in view of hanging the light strips 5 from the parapet/ roof-top."
