MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023122 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'modular ladder stabilizer.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular ladder stabilizer, comprising an elongated body 1 positioned in proximity to a ladder, an ultrasonic sensor determines dimensions of ladder, a hydraulically operated bar 2 extends/retracts for positioning two U-shaped frames 3 in proximity to ends of ladder, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of side rail of ladder, a motorized pulley arrangement alters dimensions of frame 3, multiple telescopic pushers 5 adhering to each side rail and thereafter user moves ladder near a vertical support where ladder is required to be positioned, a LiDAR sensor detects distance of surface of support from frame 3, a hydraulically operated link 6 extends/retracts for positioning an expandable structure 7 over surface of support, plurality of suction units get adhered on surface for affixing frames 3 on support in a secured manner."
