MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020418 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'modular infant carrying assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular infant carrying assistive device, comprising a wearable body 101 that is intended to be worn by a user over their belly portion, multiple pressure sensors to detect pressure applied by body 101 on the user's belly portion, a motorized roller 102 to rotate on its axis for allowing adjustments of the primary strap's 103 tension and position, an imaging unit 108 for capturing multiple images, a hollow hemi-spherical shaped member 104 for forming a secure and comfortable space for user to accommodate their infant, an air compressor to inflate the inflatable padding 105 for providing comfort to the user, a motion sensor is to detect user's movements while carrying the infant, a speaker 106 to alert user about positioning a pair of secondary straps 107 to back portion of wearable body 101."
