MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018727 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'modular ice cubes manufacturing assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Badrinarayan Sahu.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular ice cubes manufacturing assistive device, comprises of a hollow cuboidal body 101 developed to be positioned over a fixed surface, plurality of slots 102 arranged in a symmetrical manner on the body 101, an electronic valve 103 connected with a chamber 104 stored with water and arranged in ceiling of body 101 for pouring water inside slots 102, a temperature sensor installed inside body 101 for detecting temperature level inside body 101 during freezing of water, a microphone 105 embedded on body 101 for receiving voice commands of user for dispensing of ice cubes, an electromagnetic spring 106 arranged on base of each of slots 102 to facilitate proper dispensing of ice cube via a circular cavity 107 carved on side portion of body 101, and a motorized dual-axis slider 108 integrated in between ceiling and chamber 104 to adjust position of chamber 104."
