MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511115556 A) filed by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, on Nov. 22, 2025, for 'modular hydraulic actuator system for industrial automation.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Bhim Singh; Saksham Gupta; and Khwahish.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a modular hydraulic actuator system configured for variable industrial automation tasks. The modular hydraulic actuator system comprises a standardized actuator housing configured to define an internal cavity for receiving interchangeable modules. The modular hydraulic actuator system further comprises a plurality of cartridge modules removably mounted within the internal cavity and configured to perform hydraulic actuation, control, and sensing operations. The modular hydraulic actuator system further comprises a coupling interface operatively connected to the actuator housing and configured to enable selective fluid communication and signal transmission between the plurality of cartridge modules and an external hydraulic circuit, whereby the modular hydraulic actuator system enables reconfiguration of operational parameters without replacement of the complete unit."
