MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020729 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'modular electronic gadget charging device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Simarpreet Kaur; Dr. Abhishek Sharma; Sakshi Thakur; and Ranjit Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular electronic gadget charging device comprises of a cylindrical frame 1 installed with a push button 2 that is accessed by a user for actuating/de-actuating the device, plurality of telescopically operated links 3 integrated in the frame 1 allowing the user to access the frame 1 for charging gadgets, plurality of cuboidal cavities 4 of varying dimensions are carved on the frame 1 for facilitating the user to insert and accommodate the gadget, a plate 5 integrated at base of the cavities 4 that is accessed by a user for accommodating the gadget, a motorized air blower 6 integrated on the frame 1, and a speaker 7 integrated arranged on the frame 1 to produce audio alert."
