MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005545 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'modular cattle sheltering system.'
Inventor(s) include Vikas Kaushik; Sarabjeet Singh; and Vikashdeep Mann.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a modular cattle sheltering system, comprising a housing 1 configured with plurality of artificial intelligence-based imaging units 2 to determine positioning and dimensions of a cattle, a frame 3 arranged on housing 1 integrated with plurality of curved clamps 4 integrated with a motorized sliding unit 5 for translating the clamps 4 to partition space for the cattle, plurality of exhaust fans 6 arranged on housing 1 for maintaining temperature, a multi-sectioned chamber 7 attached on housing 1 to dispense cattle feed and water into a multi-sectional container 8 arranged on the housing 1 and plurality of electronically controlled sprinklers 9 arranged on the housing 1 to sprinkle water on the cattle."
