MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020130 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'modular birdsong acoustic relaxation device.'

Inventor(s) include Dinesh Kumar Srivastava.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular birdsong acoustic relaxation device comprises of a U-shaped frame 1 developed to be placed on a ground surface for enabling a user to accommodate the user's body on the plate 7, an ultrasonic sensor for determining presence of the user on the plate 7, a motorized slider lid to get deployed for covering apex and front portion in view of enclosing the user in the frame 1, microphone 8 to receive voice commands regarding a user-desired temperature and maintain the user-specified temperature around the user, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 for monitoring surroundings of the frame 1, a second speaker is placed on the frame 1 for producing alarming sounds and an acoustic sensor is assembled in the frame 1 for detecting the bird's vocalizations with precision."
