MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025633 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'modular beverage storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Hamid; Jyoti Sharma; Y. P. Malik; and Priti Garg.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular beverage storage device, comprising a body 1 integrated with a handle that is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip over body, lid 2 is accessed by a user for accessing the body, plurality of slots 3 that are accessed by the user for engaging multiple beverage containers 4, multiple hollow telescopically operated rods 5 to extend for positioning a sharp nozzle 6 in proximity to mouth portion of the containers 4, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images of inside of body 1 to determine positioning of the nozzle, robotic arm 8 for forcing the nozzle against the containers 4 lid 2 in order to pierce and insert the nozzle inside the container along with the rods 5, touch interactive display panel 9 accessed by the user for selecting a beverage, mixing chamber 10 mounted on body 1 for accommodating pumped liquid."
