MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020398 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'modular anti-skid device for vehicular stability.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rosysmita Bikram Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular anti-skid device for vehicular stability, comprises of a curved-shaped body 101 constructed with plurality of curved-shaped extendable plates developed to be engaged with wheels of a vehicle, multiple electromagnets 103 attached with free-end of body 101 for encircling around wheel, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 configured on body 101 to detect dimensions of wheels, plurality of motorized hinges 105 configured between plates for of securing body 101 around the wheels, a pair of L-shaped hydraulically operated rods 106 arranged on lateral sides of the body 101 to acquire a proper grip over wheels, a traction sensor installed on body 101 for detecting grip level of wheels on the road surface, plurality of pneumatic pins 102 arranged on bottom portion of body 101 to extend towards road surface to improve tire contact with road."
