MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641006683 A) filed by Academy Of Maritime Education and Training, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 23, for 'modified reclining chair containing adjustability, charging integration, targeted cervical and limb massage.'

The Present invention focuses on a multifunctional reclining chair capable of providing targeted cervical (neck) and limb massage, while simultaneously supporting modern lifestyle requirements such as electronic device charging and personalized posture control. The modified reclining chair of the present invention is engineered to address limitations found in conventional reclining chairs, which typically offer limited adjustability, lack therapeutic features and do not support integrated electronic utilities. The present invention combines mechanical, electrical, and ergonomic innovations into a single, user-centric design."
