MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421011618 A) filed by Dr Shital Bhagya; Mr Nirav Mavani; and Saurashtra University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Feb. 20, 2024, for 'modified basti yantra.'

Inventor(s) include Dr Shital Bhagya; and Mr Nirav Mavani.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention is related to currently developed and well-established method of administration of the medicated oil or decoction through the route of anal. Commonly used methods and medicines to rejuvenate the body by basti requires improved administrative method and tools. The current embodiment of the invention is related with instrumentation and method administration of utilization of it. Properly administered medicament with proper dose impacts with proper results."
