MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051312 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on May 28, for 'model selection method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of communications. Provided are a model selection method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: determining information used for model selection; and selecting a model according to the information used for model selection. The present disclosure provides a processing method for the situation of "model selection", such that model selection is carried out according to information used for model selection, the duration of model selection is then shortened, and it is unnecessary for a plurality of nodes to participate in selection, such that a situation where model selection is inaccurate due to inference nodes being different can be mitigated, and the efficiency and accuracy of model selection can be improved."
