MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541120989 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'mobile trolley for controlled tilting of bubble top water cans.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses a mobile trolley for the controlled tilting of heavy bubble top water cans. The trolley comprises a wheeled frame with a bottom deck (2) Jor storing a spare water can (10) and a top deck (3) supporting a novel tilting mechanism. The mechanism includes a dual arm (5) fixed to the top deck (3), a fulcrum (6) mounted between the arms, and a tiltable arm engaged with the fulcrum. A radial clamp, attached to the tiltable arm, securely cradles a primary water can. A detachable neck handle (9) is affixed to the can's neck. To pour water, a user pulls the neck handle (9), causing the can to pivot smoothly about the fulcrum (6), enabling effortless, lever-assisted pouring without lifting. A large handle (8) provides mobility, and a water glass holder offers convenient storageoppin."
