MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013335 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'mobile phone handling assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mobile phone handling assistive device, comprises of a plate 1 having a first and a second portion developed to accommodate a mobile phone around hand of a user, a camera 4 to detect the presence of mobile phone in proximity to the first portion, a holographic projection unit 5 for guiding the user in placing the phone on the plate 1 properly, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting the dimension of mobile phone, a motorized slider 8 configured between rods 6 for translating clamps 7 in order to secure the phone, a laser sensor for detecting the dimension of user's hand and an inflatable unit equipped over the member 3 inflated by an air compressor for handling the phone properly."
