MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133808 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'mobile autonomous laboratory assistant device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mobile autonomous laboratory assistant device, comprises of a platform 101 mounted over an omnidirectional wheel 102 for autonomous movement within a laboratory, a multispectral imaging unit 103 to map surroundings, track user activity, and identify reagent containers, a cuboidal chemical and reagent storage shelf 104 is to store multiple chemical compounds, a robotic arm 105 with an analytical pod 106 configured for real-time monitoring of chemical reactions, a retractable chemical composition analyzing probe 107 to identify reagent identity, purity, and environmental conditions, an experiment analysis and reaction prediction module operatively to analyse reagent properties, predict reaction outcomes, estimate reaction time, and classify experiments based on associated risk levels, a plurality of reagent dispensing conduits 111 to dispense reagents in droplet-level precision, a safety management module 109 being automatically actuated upon detection of hazardous conditions."
