MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072615 A) filed by N. V. Nutricia, Zoetermeer, Netherlands, on July 30, for 'mix of non-digestible oligosaccharides.'
Inventor(s) include Van Limpt, Cornelus, Johannes, Petrus; Renes, Ingrid Brunhilde; and Schwebel, Lauriane Emmanuelle Melanie.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention concerns nutritional compositions comprising a mixture of non-digestible oligosaccharides consisting of a combination of 5 specific human milk oligosaccharides, beta-galacto-oligosaccharides and long chain fructo-oligosaccharides (IcFOS). The nutritional compositions are of benefit for improving intestinal microbiota."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 07, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053094.
