MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421015150 A) filed by Ross Lifescience USA Inc., Lorton, U.S.A., on Feb. 29, 2024, for 'mist emitting device.'
Inventor(s) include Mahendran, Arumugham; Sridhar, S.; Nair, Pavana; Ganesh Murugan, K. J.; and Potdar, Amol.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a portable and compact mist emitting device for disperse a fluid mist into a target surrounding space. The mist emitting device (200) comprises a bottom housing (202) having a recessed portion (206) adapted to receive a replaceable fluid reservoir (100) storing a liquid, a liquid conveying member (106) having a first end (106-1) positioned in the fluid reservoir (100) and a second end (106-2) extending from the recessed portion (206) in a direction away from the fluid reservoir (100). The liquid conveying member (106) conveys the liquid stored in the fluid reservoir (100) towards the second end (106-2) by capillary action. An atomizer (208) is coupled with the liquid conveying member (106) to convert the liquid present at the second end (106-2) of the liquid conveying member (106) into mist particles."
