MUMBAI, India, June 16 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611054805 A) filed by Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab, on April 29, for 'miniature circuit breaker board safety device.'
Inventor(s) include Dixit; and Dr. Renu Bala.
The application for the patent was published on June 5, under issue no. 23/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A miniature circuit breaker board safety device, comprises a door panel 101 mounted to a Miniature Circuit Breaker distribution board to cover internal wiring and circuit breakers, one or more motorized hinge joints 102 coupled to door panel 101 for automatic opening and closing, an access control imaging module 103 mounted on the door panel 101 to capture user face data and an authorization module permitting access only to an authorized user, an actuation assembly within the door panel 101 including an XY gantry arrangement 104 for two axis positioning, a six bar linkage 105 for manipulating electrical conductors and switching interfaces, and a terminal tool 106 for loosening and tightening terminal screws, an inspection sensor suite operatively coupled to an embedded microcontroller, an environmental conditioning assembly including a Peltier thermal regulation unit 107 and or a dry air blower, and a communication interface for remote monitoring and user access."
