MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017993 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'mini drafter operating assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Asit Kumar Subudhi.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mini drafter operating assistive device, comprises of a U-shaped elongated channel 101 developed to be affixed with an edge of a drafting table, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 103 installed on the channel 101 to detect width of drawing board, a motorized drawer arrangement 104 integrated in the channel 101, to alter its dimension to cover entire width of drawing board, a telescopically operated rod 106 attached with each end of channel 101 to extend and position a pair of suction cups 107 attached with each the rods 106, on the sheet for adhering the sheet, and a motorized slider configured between the channel 101 and an extendable link 108 configured with the channel 101 and detachably attached with an mini drafter 110 to adjust position of the drafter 110, to allow user to perform desired operation on the sheet using the drafter 110."
