MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202218035342 A) filed by Apple Inc., Cupertino, U.S.A., on June 20, 2022, for 'millimeter wave (mmwave) system and methods.'
Inventor(s) include Galeev, Mikhail, T.; Orhan, Oner; Amadjikpe, Arnaud, Lucres; Grewell, Benjamin; Naderializadeh, Navid; Nikopour, Hosein; Sudhakaran, Susruth; Talwar, Shilpa; and Xian, Liang.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mobile communication device that is configured to cancel interference within received millimeter wave band signals. The device includes a receiver circuit that is configured to receive a millimeter wave band signal, adjust gain provided to the millimeter wave band signal at a first amplifier, cancel interference in millimeter wave band signal after gain is adjusted by the first amplifier, and adjust gain provided to the millimeter wave band signal at a second amplifier after interference is cancelled."
The patent application was internationally filed on June 22, 2018, under International application No.PCT/US2018/038906.
