MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421008060 A) filed by Mr. Pravin B Nalawade; Mr. Hemant K Pagar; and Mr. Vikrant M Suryawanshi, Karjat, Maharashtra, on April 6, 2024, for 'microencapsulated composition of flavor and fragrances.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provided a microencapsulated composition of various materials or components used for flavoring and fragrances with the process thereof. The microencapsulated composition comprises flavors and fragrance components, emulsifiers, and encapsulating agents. The composition may additionally comprise suitable antioxidants or a combination of antioxidants. The composition is in encapsulated form of flavoring and fragrances agent with concomitantly enhanced stability and dispersibility and hence used in various applications. Also, the encapsulated composition for flavors and fragrances is applicable to both hydrophilic and hydrophobic types of systems. The invention also relates to the process for the manufacture of stable flavoring and fragrance spherical granules, beadlets, and/or spheroids using a spray chamber equipped with maintaining temperature."
