MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617009841 A) filed by Firmenich Sa, Satigny, Switzerland, on Jan. 30, for 'microcapsules and process for preparing microcapsules.'
Inventor(s) include Berthier, Damien; Ouali, Lahoussine; Etchenausia, Laura; and Jacquemond, Marlene.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to core-shell microcapsules. A process for the preparation of said microcapsules is also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising said microcapsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 25, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/076849.
