MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069253 A) filed by Vuereal Inc., Waterloo, Canada, on July 21, for 'micro-led for headlight with event detection.'

Inventor(s) include Chaji, Gholamreza; and Cronin, John.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Micro-LED-based vehicle headlight. Micro-LEDs may be arranged in a panel with density to create the same or similar intensity light as existing headlight designs or to conform with legal requirements. These Micro-LED headlights may allow for cheaper, more energy efficient, smaller, and/or more customizable headlights. The Micro-LED headlight may be automatically changed into different modes, such as high beams or fog lights, based on the driving conditions detected by sensors."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 21, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CA2023/051740.
