MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064879 A) filed by Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, Beerse, Belgium, on July 8, for 'methods of preparing antibody-polynucleotide conjugates.'

Inventor(s) include Goldberg, Shalom; Wissner, Rebecca; and Mccauley, Jr. Michael.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are methods of forming an antibody-polynucleotide conjugate having an antibody-polynucleotide ratio that is about 1:1 and compositions of the same. These methods allow for efficient generation of antibody-polynucleotides conjugates with precise stoichiometries. Further, these conjugates have improved PK properties and are easier to manufacture compared to other methods."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 14, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/062719.
