MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067795 A) filed by Eli Lilly And Company, Indianapolis, on July 16, for 'methods of cleaning chromatography matrices.'
Inventor(s) include Tan Shizhao, Noah; and Lordan, Jean.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are improved methods of cleaning a protein A chromatography matrix that has previously been used to purify an Fc-containing protein. The methods generally involve washing the protein A chromatography matrix with a series of three solutions, the first containing an acid, the second containing Tris, and the third containing NaOH (e.g., 0.001-0.075 M NaOH)."
