MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002323 A) filed by Comviva Technologies Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, on Jan. 8, for 'methods for artificial intelligence enabled dynamic route selection and systems thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Agrahari, Pawan Kumar; Shinde, Ketan Ramchandra; and Kulkarni, Veerat Sunil.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system and method for artificial-intelligence enabled dynamic route selection in a Communications & Network Platform as a service (CNPaaS) are disclosed. The CNPaaS receives network application programming interface (API) requests from enterprise applications and routes the requests to one of a plurality of southbound platforms comprising aggregators and direct API providers. Event data records capturing execution outcomes, including status codes and response-time metrics, are generated for served API requests, and heartbeat results indicating the connectivity status of southbound platforms are obtained. An AI-based dynamic route selection module continuously analyzes a factor data set derived from cost data, event data records, and heartbeat results to determine an updated route preference indicating an optimum and healthy southbound platform. The updated route preference is applied to route subsequent API requests, thereby dynamically avoiding unhealthy routes and maintaining uninterrupted service delivery."
