MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441035135 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 3, for 'methods and systems for remote attestation in zero-trust architecture of a wireless communication network.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses techniques for remote attestation in a zero-trust architecture of a wireless communication network. The method includes receiving, by a trust function, at least one proof of evidence from a first Network Function (NF) consumer. The at least one proof of evidence indicates trustworthiness of the first NF consumer. The method includes determining, by the trust function, an attestation result based on the received at least one proof of evidence. The method also includes transmitting, by the trust function, the attestation result to the first NF consumer. The attestation result allows the first NF consumer to establish communication with another NF consumer."
