MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441028197 A) filed by Harman International Industries Incorporated, Stamford, U.S.A., on April 5, 2024, for 'methods and systems for dynamic target classification.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems and methods are herein provided for dynamic target classification. In one example, a method for a vehicle computing system of a host vehicle (HV), comprises receiving one or more messages from one or more remote vehicles (RVs) via Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, wherein each of the one or more messages comprise one or more RV parameters; determining one or more HV parameters; performing target classification based on the one or more HV parameters and the one or more RV parameters of each of the one or more RVs to identify a subset of the one or more messages; transmitting the subset of the one or more messages to an application of the vehicle computing system for processing."
