Method includes receiving an authorization (auth) request of a payment transaction between a merchant and a cardholder. Method includes accessing multiple features based on multiple payment transactions performed by the cardholder with multiple merchants. At least one feature of the multiple features indicate a hoarding transaction pattern associated with a set of labeled payment transactions. Method includes generating, via a pseudo-label generation model, a pseudo-label for each unlabeled payment transaction, for generating a set of pseudo-labeled payment transactions. Method includes generating, via a hoarding prediction model, a hoarding probability score for the payment transaction based on the set of labeled payment transactions and the set of pseudo-labeled payment transactions. The hoarding probability score indicates a likelihood of the payment transaction being associated with a hoarding risk. Method includes transmitting the hoarding probability score to an acquirer server."
