MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016426 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on March 7, 2024, for 'methods and devices for improving memory operations.'

The method (500) further includes transmitting (506) a configuration request to the storage device (230) to configure a spare space within a storage controller (232) of the storage device (230) in response to determining that the current processing load exceeds a load threshold value. The configuring of the spare space includes allocating a plurality of registers within the spare space to perform the at least one memory operation on the storage device (230)."
