MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005679 A) filed by Vital Biosciences Inc., Mississauga, Canada, on Jan. 20, for 'methods and devices for biological sample preparation and microscopic analysis.'

The method comprises providing a disposable cartridge having a receiving inlet and an analyzing chamber, receiving a volume of a fluid having one or more components of a sample fluid and a buffer in the receiving inlet of the disposable cartridge; tagging the fluid moving through the disposable cartridge with dried tagging reagents disposed along the sample pathway; and forming a monolayer of the tagged fluid in the analyzing chamber for microscopic analysis. The disposable cartridge moves the sample fluid through a sample pathway between the receiving inlet and the analyzing chamber by a rotating motor."
