MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202418087986 A) filed by Diamond Therapeutics Inc., Toronto, on Nov. 14, 2024, for 'methods and compositions comprising a 5ht receptor agonist for the treatment of psychological, cognitive, behavioral, and/or mood disorders.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are methods and compositions for the treatment of psychological, cognitive, behavioral, and/or mood disorders, the composition comprising a 5HT agonist (e.g. psilocybin). In certain embodiments, such compositions are administered in amounts or levels high enough to provide a therapeutic effect, but insufficient to provide an adverse effect."
