MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517099294 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 14, for 'methods and apparatus for transmission and reception of uplink signal in a wireless communication system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The method includes receiving second information that indicates a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback mode, resolving overlapping for uplink channels associated with a same value of a control resource set (CORESET) pool index parameter, and in case that the second information indicates the HARQ-ACK feedback mode as joint, resolving overlapping for uplink channels associated with different values of the CORESET pool index parameter. The invention provides an enhanced uplink signal transmission method."
