MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096719 A) filed by Interdigital Patent Holdings, Inc. Wilmington, U.S.A., on Oct. 7, for 'methods, architectures, apparatuses and systems for relocating server of a consumer node in a break-before-make pattern.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In an embodiment, a method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit, WTRU, comprises receiving a server set configuration associated with an active server; detecting unavailability of the active server; selecting an alternate server based on the received server set configuration; transmitting, to the alternate server, a server switch request message, wherein the server switch request message includes a WTRU identifier; receiving, from the alternate server, a switch response message, wherein the switch response message includes procedures for communicating to the alternate server; and communicating to the alternate server based on the procedures."
