MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527061010 A) filed by Calgon Carbon Corporation, Moon Township, U.S.A., on June 26, for 'method of characterizing a sorbent.'
Inventor(s) include Mazzoccoli, Jason Paul; Mcclelland, Timothy Robert; Walker, Ryan William; and Dixon, Christopher Bennett.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is provided a method to characterize a sorbent. The method may provide a sorbent, suspend the sorbent in a fluid, stir the sorbent in the fluid, filter the sorbent from the fluid to isolate a filtrate, measure the electrical conductivity of the filtrate, and measure the alkalinity of the filtrate."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 07, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/082930.
