MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105148 A) filed by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'method for workforce skill gap identification and targeted training allocation.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Neeraj Chopra; Dr. Rashi Banerjee; and Dr. Animesh Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an apparatus (100) for workforce skill gap identification and targeted training allocation. The apparatus (100) comprises a data acquisition unit (102) receiving employee competency data associated with a plurality of workforce members. A skill mapping unit (104) is operatively connected to the data acquisition unit (102) to compare said employee competency data against predefined role-based skill requirements. A gap analysis engine (106) is operatively connected to the skill mapping unit (104) to determine deviations between said employee competency data and said role-based requirements. A prioritisation processor (108) is operatively connected to the gap analysis engine (106) to rank said deviations based on organisational criteria. A training allocation unit (110) is operatively connected to the prioritisation processor (108) to generate and allocate training recommendations to selected workforce members. Such an apparatus (100) enables systematic identification of skill gaps and effective workforce training allocation."
