MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514081820 A) filed by Nitto Denko Corporation, Osaka, Japan, on Aug. 28, 2025, for 'method for treating textile waste water.'
Inventor(s) include Yuha Okazaki; Yasuhiro Tomi; and Masashi Beppu.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a method for treating textile waste water having smaller energy consumption and providing high Na2SO4 permeability and high dye rejection properties, and a method for recovering Na2SO4 using the same. A method for treating textile waste water, the method including a separation step of treating textile waste water containing Na2SO4 and an anionic dye with an NF membrane to obtain a permeation liquid containing the Na2SO4 selectively permeating through the NF membrane and a concentrated liquid in which the anionic dye is concentrated, wherein the NF membrane is an anionically charged NF membrane, and a supply liquid supplied to the NF membrane contains 1.5% by mass or less of an anionic dye with respect to the Na2SO4."
